Whether it is environmental issues, education, infrastructure funding, competitive practices, business law, contract compliance, or lending practices the AMBCC works with government officials and policy makers to ensure equal opportunities for all minorities.
Our Position
Business & Economic Development
We will monitor and deter unfair business practices and discrimination in areas of employment, procurement, lending, home ownership, and taxes. We will promote business ownership and wealth building programs.
Education
We will support programs and initiatives which help eliminate achievement gaps and support school infrastructure, after school programs, HBCU colleges and universities and vocational programs.
Health
We support universal health care for all ensuring affordability and prevention methods. We will promote prevention programs and encourage more minority participation in all fields of health and wellness.
Judicial Matters
We seek and promote equal justice for all and pro-action in the election process. We will monitor voter rights and elections as well as civic liberty matters.
Poverty
We will monitor the effectiveness of government assistance programs, identify transition programs and create solutions.
Other
We will also promote strong Black family units; improving the welfare of children in foster care, increasing Black political representation, reducing inequities and improving opportunities for Black people locally, nationally, and internationally.
